“My life is so much better than it was before surgery, when I weighed over 300 pounds. I like who I see in the mirror now.

For years I woke up hating my reflection as I brushed my teeth or got ready for my routine. It would set a negative vibe for my entire day. Often, I would be grouchy towards those I love, not because I was upset with them, rather I hated myself and dwelt in that negative feeling for the day, and took it out on others, especially those closest to me.

Now I like seeing me in pictures, especially with my kids! I am happy with my reflection, so I am happy in my interactions around those I love. I go out a lot with friends, and no longer see myself as the fattest one in the room, I am just one of the girls! I do not feel like everyone is judging me based on my size. Now, I wear form fitting clothes and feel like they compliment my figure. I do not have the perfect figure, but I feel pretty good about the way I look and feel about myself.

I am very VERY grateful to Dr. Oliak!!! He has changed my life! I am so much happier! After trying every diet/program known to man, this surgery worked for me! And has truly made me a better mother, wife, and friend, because I feel better about me.
